Loretta L. Donovan
Loretta L. Donovan, President of iAttain, is an independent consultant and executive coach who provides leadership and organization development services through generative strategies to clients in the healthcare industry. She is the former Chief Learning Officer for the Health Quest System in New York. Loretta has held senior Organization Development and Learning positions in the fields of higher education, and information technology, as well as at the national level of nonprofits.
Loretta earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, and a Master of Arts in Education with high honors from Manhattanville College. She is a certified doctoral candidate in Organizational Learning and Leadership at Columbia University, Teachers College. She has held teaching positions at Columbia University, Teachers College, and at New York University. For two decades, Loretta has been an appreciative inquiry scholar/practitioner. She has written and presented extensively on appreciative inquiry, transformative learning, and narrative methods for well-being. She holds certifications in Overcoming Immunity to Change Coaching and Facilitation, Physician Development Coaching, the EQi for Emotional Intelligence, and the Center for Creative Leadership’s Benchmarks tools.
Loretta is a resident of Brookfield CT where she is active in local civic affairs. She contributes her time to METAvivor, the only US non-profit that awards peer-reviewed research grants exclusively for metastatic breast cancer, as well as serving as a Citizen Reviewer for the Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program.
